9 or 12mm plywood with anti-slip coating, optionally with aluminium entry guards.
Sidewall protection
Sidewall protection prevents damage to the car body by sliding or toppling load. Furthermore, the perfect fitting panels result in a tidy and well kept cargo compartment. Options:
- Side and door panels in light grey PP plastic, 5mm thick. Advantages of plastic vs. wood: does not tear when damaged, less weight, better light reflection in the cargo compartment.
- Side and door panels in brown plywood, thickness 6.5 or 4 mm depending on the application.
- Slotted walls in brown plywood, 6.5 mm thick. Alternative to battens.
- Battens, possibly in combination with side panels and door panels in wood or plastics.
Wooden bulkheads
Sometimes a standard bulkhead does not offer sufficient space for large people in the cabin. In that case a tailored wooden bulkhead is the solution, creating extra space for the driver.
Window grilles
Besides being a burglar retardant, window grilles also offer window protection against toppling load.
